1:1 Therapy
Individual Sessions
Individual therapy is offered in standard, extended, and intensive formats, with varying lengths and costs. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may include skill building, somatic approaches, and parts-based work. Depending on the format, sessions support ongoing emotional regulation, deeper processing, and focused work on longstanding patterns, transitions, or trauma—at a pace that allows for safety, clarity, and integration.

Standard Session (55min)
$165 | Insurance accepted (Sentara only or a Superbill will be provided)
A steady rhythm for your healing. These sessions are weekly or bi-weekly anchors. A consistent place to explore your patterns, process life’s messiness, and build deeper self-trust. Grounded therapy in a space where your full humanity is welcome.

Extended Session (75min)
$225 | Private pay only
More space, more breath, more depth. These sessions weave together talk therapy and somatic work, giving you room to slow down and connect more deeply with what's happening in your body and inner system. Ideal for navigating larger transitions, processing deeper emotions, or when you simply need a little more time.

Intensive Session (90min)
$255 | Private pay only
Intentional, layered, and deeply restorative. Using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing, intensives are for the tender work that needs time – unblending from old roles, tending to your younger parts, and reclaiming your inner steadiness. It’s therapy without the rush. Spacious, attuned, and paced to support real integration.
My Approach
At Renaissance Healing, therapy isn’t just about fixing what feels broken. It’s about coming home to yourself. I create a cozy, judgment-free space where you can speak freely, feel seen, and build deep trust. Because real, lasting change starts with feeling safe and respected.
I approach our work with a balance of warmth, insight, and curiosity. You can expect me to listen deeply, reflect with care, and gently challenge you when it serves your growth.
I weave together meaningful dialogue and practical tools to help you understand how your mind works, what your body is communicating, and how your emotions are guiding you.
Our work honors the whole person: emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual. Together, we’ll reconnect you with your intuition, strengthen your mind-body relationship, and encourage self-compassion along the way.
We’ll explore your core values, personal strengths, and areas of growth so you can move closer to the life that feels most authentic and fulfilling to you.
My ultimate goal is to empower you to hear the language of your own inner wisdom, make meaningful choices, and feel grounded and confident in who you are.
Therapy is a collaborative process — and I’m here to walk beside you, every step of the way.
Renaissance Healing offers an incorporation and integration of the following therapeutic modalities and tools:
Internal Family Systems
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate, evidence-based approach to psychotherapy that helps individuals explore and heal the different “parts” within themselves, such as the inner critic, the wounded child, or the protector. Rather than trying to eliminate these parts, IFS helps clients build a trusting relationship with them, guided by their core Self: an inner source of calm, clarity, and wisdom. Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS can support deep emotional healing, greater self-understanding, and lasting inner balance.
Somatic Experiencing® Therapy
Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) is a gentle, body-based approach to healing trauma, stress, and nervous system dysregulation. Rather than focusing solely on thoughts or memories, SE works with the body’s natural responses—such as tension, sensations, and movement—to safely process and release the effects of trauma. Developed by Dr. Peter Levine, this method supports clients in restoring a sense of safety, connection, and resilience from the inside out.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic therapy is a deep, insight-oriented approach that helps you explore how past experiences—especially early relationships—influence your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By bringing unconscious patterns to light, this therapy can foster meaningful self-understanding and lasting emotional change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, psychodynamic therapy offers a space to reflect, grow, and connect with your authentic self.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you build a richer, more meaningful life by teaching you how to accept difficult thoughts and feelings rather than avoid them. Through mindfulness, values exploration, and committed action, ACT supports you in becoming more psychologically flexible—so you can move forward even when life feels challenging. It's a practical, empowering approach for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and more.
